Love the Shanghai la robe.. the fabric is soft very light weight, lighter than I thought it would be... that and the lack of a loop to hang it up lose it a star, it’s thin enough I’m afraid my robe hooks will pierce the fabric. Although thin it feels quite nice against my skin, drapes nicely and is flattering. The 3/4 sleeves don’t get in the way while washing hands/dishes. I’m 5’5” and it just grazes the tops of my feet, I got a small which is very generously sized.
I had my eye on this robe for a while, but had always ended up convincing myself it was a somewhat frivolous purchase. I’ve never really been someone to wear a robe in the past... I had no idea what I was missing! This robe is beautifully soft, and feels amazing to wear. I’m in love.
After searching for the perfect robe for many months I finally found it. It is long, sleeves are comfortable and it drapes nicely with sufficient fabric to wrap around nicely. It’s a 10. Highly recommended!!
