I WISH to give nordstrom 5 stars, as I think nordstrom deserves it- but after buying the full size (rec'd sample size from nord set which included the L'OCCITANE Amanda Almond Body), I ordered this in error -- and think , 16 oz for this -- it just is not worth the cost. I love high-end lotions and beauty, but I believe this to be not worth it's cost -- it's kind of almond scent, but doubt this bottle will last 4-6 weeks and a luxury bath bar seems to me to more cost effective, I honestly think L'OCCITANE should lower their $ for their retailers or offer more for the $. This doesn't seem to me to be in any way a 'oh it's luxury item and I'll splurge for this" but, a wow I could've bought a better product from a diff brand and felt better''
I was excited about this product, but once I used it I was immediately turned off. It smells so bad, like wet dog - really badly. I thought maybe the oil had turned rancid but on the L'Occitane site there are numerous reviews that say the same thing. And, it doean't leave your skin softer than any other moisturizing body wash. Cut my losses and tossed it.
