Unfortunately, Wood Apparently Not Sealed. I used this body brush maybe 5-6 times with Kiehls Body Wash. I rinsed it thoroughly afterwards and hung the brush to air dry. It looks awful in the shower or by the tub. I’m afraid the bristles are going to rot out sooner or later. Shopping for a replacement.
I used this brush a couple of times a week for years, it holds up really well and is easy to maintain. I have sensitive skin but the brush never caused irritation. I just bought another one to replace the old one, still love it. We’ve moved around a lot and I’ve had two babies which has been hard on my skin, in the time between brushes I had dry patches and keratosis show up but after getting back to using the brush it’s fading. Looking into pairing it with an oil (opposed to just lotion) to help restore more moisture.
