This go-round of new camisoles has been a bust - I guess pun intended. I've been ordering and wearing these for years but after just a few wears and washes (as directed) the hem has unraveled. Plus, the fabric is must thinner than past camis - so much so - these purchased in April already have holes on the sides. It used to take at least 6 months to a year for that to happen and some in other colors I've had for much longer with no holes at all. Just disappointed that the quality is no longer what it used to be.
Just got this from Anniversary Sale. The Burgundy Fig color leans slightly on the cool purple side of the spectrum than the warm red wine side and functions as a neutral because it is fairly dark. This will be perfect under a blazer, cardigan, hoodie or as a sleep top paired with a pencil skirt, jeans, leggings or shorts. It will be great paired with tan, taupe, black, gray, white or muted blue...and with business type patterns like pin stripes, herringbone or plaid. If I were into floral, this could go with a floral skirt too. The fabric is 91% cotton, 9% spandex, which gives smooth coverage and medium stretch. I appreciate that it is not see-thru, not shiny, and not overly stretchy like athletic wear.
