This is a great shoe and my 6th pair of AEs. My one real issue is the appearance of cheapening the overall product. No shoe bags, the new shoe box started to fall apart as I was opening it. I have been a big fan of AE, but I am considering changing to someone else. Read online reviews and forums, I am not the only one. We all loved the American made shoes that represented quality and pride. It now appears, at least from a presentation standpoint, AE has gone cheap. Are you in financial difficulties?

The shoe was beautiful, but it was too narrow

Since the D width was the widest, I regretfully had to return the shoe. As I have aged, the D width is no longer wide enough.
