Easy ordering, great shoe
PostedDecember 20, 2014
I ordered these online for my husband. The process was simple and fast and they arrived in a matter o f days. The shoes are beautiful and the quality is fantastic. My husband loves his other Allen Edmonds shoes and I'm sure he'll love these too.

Quality down hill

Prospoor quality
Bought three pair Allen Edmonds Cliftons at Nordstrom. Granted it was after about 2 dozen wears, but the heel fell off while I was sitting in the car. Then looked at the shoe and two of the "brads" used to hold the heel to the bottom are starting to come through to the inside heel of the shoe. Started wearing the second pair, and after about 1/2 dozen wears, same brads are coming through to the inside heel about ready to poke through the sole pad. That will be a bad wear on my heel when it does come through. Now afraid to wear the third pair, still new in the box. I've owned over a dozen pair of Allen Edmonds, but his is unreal and smacks of BAD quality.

Shoes squeek
PostedOctober 29, 2014
Will have to return these shoes, they squeak loudly where the tongue meets the laces because they use two different types of leather. Poor choice of materials and lack of attention to detail it would seem. I will stick with Italian although I really wanted to like these American made shoes from Allen Edmunds.
