Moisturizing, creamy, and just the right amount of pigment make this lipstick the most natural-looking nude color that I've ever tried. I have dark red lips, and this lipstick effectively de-saturates my natural lip color, lightening it to a more flattering shade that better compliments my skin tone. Not a bit dry, but has the consistency of a lip balm.
Wow! I can see why this shade and formulation has been such a long time hit. For me, light to medium complexion with blondish highlighted hair and blue/hazel eyes, this is the perfect every day lipstick. Creamy, but retains it's outline, a slight sheen, nothing ridiculous. The perfect pinky brown that is "my lips, but better" that I've been looking for. I'm buying two more to be sure I have them.
This has to be at least my sixth tube of Nars Afhan Red! I love it for it's stay power and concentrated color. A great combination of red/berry, I wear it with almost everything. Really makes my lips pop without looking overly made-up! Please don't discontinue this color!
