I am a longtime fan of these lipsticks. The only colors that haven’t worked for me (fair-skinned Caucasian, blue eyes, dark blonde) are those few that skew too orange or coral. Although I usually go for a deep, saturated color (I like deep reds), Dolce Vita is a good everyday sheer for most complexions. It’s the exact color of my lips. I wear it when doing something where I don’t want to look made-up. Hiking or other outdoor sports.
NARS lippies have a light, non-greasy texture and good longevity. They do wear off, but do so evenly. You don’t end up with a ring around your lips if you haven’t touched them up in a while, and they don’t bleed. The lipstick has no taste or fragrance that I can discern (thankfully). It doesn’t end up on your teeth. It’s a great product at a mid-range price.
This is my 5th tube of this lipstick in color Sexual Healing. The lipstick stays on forever even when eating and the color is nothing but amazing. The color brightens the complexion and makes the rest of your make up look on point. This is the only thing I will use and worth every penny.
