Proslong-wearing, rich pigmetn
Being very fair, blond, blue eyes, freckles, I have all but given up on the idea of a red lipstick that doesn't look like "theater" on. I ordered the Afghan Red, and I thik it may be a winner! It is a creamy, glide on easily lipstick, in a groovy little case. The color is deep and rich, like very ripe cranberries. It has more of a blue undertone, than orange, and once blotted, it looks fairly natural, but offers a real punch of color to my very light lips. I placed the NARS lipgloss "bad Education" over this lipstick, and I think it looks great. My husband really loves the "new look".
I rarely wear more than a dab of NARS under eyes cover up and a swoosh of lipstick, so it is important to choose one that will stay on and not smear or fade. NARS is a great choice as it tends to apply smoothly and not easily smear. I have many colors and my new favorite is the Scarlett Empress against my pale pink skin.
