I purchased Lost Coast in an attempt to match the lighter shade in Double Date that got discontinued from Clinique. The lilac in this Duo is nice and not too shimmery, and not as bright as it appeared in the compact. The taupe shade was way more grey/steel and SHIMMER than I thought it looked both online and when I opened it. I was expecting more of a brown/taupe shade and less shimmer. It goes on very saturated very quickly, builds too fast for me. Definitely go to the store to try these shades out.

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
Bought this shadow on a whim...trying for years to find the right shadow for me. Tried YSL was allergic. Tried Dior was allergic. Tried Chanel and allergic. Tried Laura Mercier and allergic. Not only was I allergic to all these and several other designers, but non I found to be flattering---some fading and creasing by days' end. I have worn this Nars (in Brousse) duo shadow for two weeks straight and hands-down is the best shadow for me! It still looks great after a long day at work and temperatures reaching 105 degrees. It is also super flattering for my brown eyes...don't know what magic is in this shadow color but it is awesome for brown eyes. Love, love, LOVE this!! Worn lightly during the day and a bit heavier/darker for night time...this is my everyday color from now on.

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
This is one of my favorite eyeshadow duos by NARS. This is my second purchase of this duo and it has become increasingly harder to find, I am hoping that it is not being discontinued!
The duo consists of a soft grayish violet paired with a nude beige, the two, combined, make a gorgeous soft smoky eye. You really cannot go wrong with this duo. It is personally one of my favorites as it makes my green eyes pop.
