Perfect!

Prosthe perfect boot, comfortable!, warm
My first pair of Ugg boots; the Brooks is everything I wanted and expected. The leather is soft; the shearling lining is warm, and the sole has great tread which makes them perfect for our brittle Wisconsin winters. I usually wear size 8.5 in a closed shoe so ordered a 9 as suggested. The fit could not be better. (Also, my granddaughter said they look much like a winter riding boot and asked if she could wear them!) Needless to say, I LOVE them!

I really like these boots. They are so warm and comfortable, love the lug sole. In the classic UGG style boot, I wear a size 7. After reading the reviews on this style, I went with a size 8, which is the right fit. My normal shoe size is 7.5 or 8. I would suggest if you are between sizes, size up.

Ugg "Brooks" Tall Boot

Proscomfortable, warm
I purchased the Brooks Tall boot to replace 20 year old Tecnica Scandia boots which I'd rate 5+++ stars for warmth, style and traction. The Brooks has decent styling though I think the heel/sole is unnecessarily clunky. I have a narrow size 8 foot and the size 8 fits well with a thin sock. I just finished clearing 7" of snow off my driveway (it took an hour) and my feet stayed toasty warm. However, a very large con to these boots is that despite the lug-style soles, they provide virtually no traction in the snow or on icy walks. I live near the Alta/Snowbird ski resorts where we get lots of snow, so this is a big downside for me. I sprayed the boots with the Synovia leather protector recommended by Nordstrom. It kept the boots totally dry, so I advise getting it. I'll probably keep these boots but think "excellent traction" should be removed from the online description.

Prosstylish warm
I tried these boots on at Nordstrom but hesitated on the purchase. After looking at all the competition, I couldn't find anything that beat this Ugg boot for style, fit and comfort. Even though I wear a size nine and a half shoe, the size nine Ugg boot fit perfectly. It has the same cozy comfort and warmth as my sheepskin Uggs but the waterproof leather can handle the snow and slush. I love the brown color. The shoe portion is a lighter brown than the shaft of the boot which almost appears black and allows the boot to be worn with black or brown. They go on easily and can be rolled to expose the fleece lining. This is your all around winter boot.
