Note: I am 5'2" with 14" calves. These boots hit right at my widest part of my calf. I am usually an US 7 and ordered my normal size in this pair. These are true to size, in my opinion.
The circumference fits nicely, but wish they can be a little bit bigger; but hoping that won't be a big issue as it might stretch with use. The sole is rugged and will be durable for the northeast winters. VERY WARM AND TOASTY. I will reserve these boots when it is actually snowing.
These Brooks UGGS is a nice refined upgrade to the more popular and more seen model made by this company. Bought these boots in black.
I missed getting these last year and was so looking forward to wearing them this Chicago winter. I am a tennis player with muscular legs, and to my dismay they were too snug around my calves! Sent them back for the low cut version which Nordstrom doesn't carry. Those came and worked well in the leg but seem a half size smaller in the shoe part. Keeping them hoping the lining will compact a bit with wear.
