My first UGG boot order! They arrived, looked great, slid them on, felt snug in the toe area (and I have slender feet) I returned them to the store, tried on several pairs to get the right fit. I also found out the inside sole can be replaced. The boot is beautiful, quality inside and out. I am a fan!
These have been the boots I've been searching for.. Something super warm, cozy, able to withstand wear for up to 14 hours because that's how long I'm on my feet working outside everyday sometimes.. AND they're stylish and not hidious tech gear. I'm in the movie business as a makeup artists and I'm in all types of environments and sets and with these this winter I can make it through any cold day without stuffing my boot with toe warmers!!
These would be great for lots of walking in a large city and commutes as well!! YES YES YEA!!!
I own several UGGS because they are so comfortable on my wide feet and I live in a cold, northern climate. I ordered the Brooks because they are waterproof so i thought this would be a bonus. However, they are not as comfortable as the traditional UGGS. They do not have the plush shearling lining. Instead it is some sort of thin wool covering. Also, the shoe bed is not as wide as the traditional UGGS. This may not be a problem for most people but it is for my feet. Finally, the heel sticks out in the back of the shoe and I found it unattractive.
True to size and beautiful, I suggest that you wear these boots in the house for a few days to stretch them out a bit. I wear a size 8 in uggs. That is the size that I purchased. Because they are leather and are shearling inside, they need to stretch a bit in order to be comfortable. Beautiful boots and very well made- they are not for wide calf.
