I couldn't be happier with these winter boots! Super warm in the cold air and snow, waterproof. Salt doesn't become a problem - you just wipe it off. They are comfortable to walk distances in. They go with every outfit. I swear by the warmth and quality of shearlings, and Uggs!

Perfect for Winter in -35c weather!

I just LOVE these boots. Wore them in California and then moved to Canada where temperatures are as low as -40! These are better than other brands because: 1. they are hard at the toe and are leather with shearing 2. No laces which is important because they are easy to kick off and slip on in your mudroom where you may not have a chair 3. Good rubber soles for walking in snowy conditions 4. Will take me to -40! but you must wear some wool socks (maybe two pairs (cotton and wool) for very cold conditions.
I sprayed with protectant, too. I always wear a size down in Uggs.

I finally found a boot that keeps my feet warm. Can wear with or without socks. Its hard to find a snow boot that isn't clunky, I think this boot does a pretty good job. I chose this pair because I don't want to look like my teenage daughters in their Ugg boots. The black leather classes the boot up and I like the taller height. The black does show dirt so I do wipe them off after I wear them to keep them clean. I also don't like brand names plastered all over my clothes. You can barely see the Ugg markings on these boots so people don't know what they are. I have worn them every day since they arrived.

This is my second pair of this style of Ugg boots. I have them in brown and wanted them in black. With this Chicago winter they have been perfect! As a mother of 4, I am in and out of the car constantly and these are lightweight and handle the salt and slush. Would highly recommend. I would imagine if you are outdoors a lot, you might need a heavier type boot.
