So disappointed...

I purchased the mini after owning the classic for a few years now. First off I had a terrible time getting the cardboard out of the inside of the boot, it was really wedged in both boots! And, unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to return them, since the collar where the boot meets is so tight that I can't get in it and I've got super small feet (size 6) and total toothpick legs and ankles. Maybe mine are defective? I really wanted the shorter length, so I'm going to take them into my local store and have them assess the situation and see if there is something they can do to either stretch the collar some or order me a new pair? Has anyone else had issues getting their foot to make the turn into the boot??

My second pair of uggs and not disappointed. I love the color and how easy it is to put them on and take them off. They are nice and warm and comfortable. I love them!

Have worn the classic short for years & decided to try the mini for a change. Love them!
Ugg boots have gone down in quality in that the lining has changed from original genuine shearling to their UGGpure material. If you never owned the original ones before, you probably will not know BUT if you did from previous years, you'll notice a difference in the lining of the Uggs from more recent purchase. I recently bought several pairs of Ugg boots on sale which all had UGGpure lining. In comparing the lining side by side with the original I own, UGGpure lining is indeed inferior in texture. It feels less soft and scratchier. I see why Ugg prices have gone down. Too bad I can't buy the original Uggs anymore now that all Ugg you'll most likely encounter will have the UGGpure lining. I'm sure UGGpure lining will keep your feet warm etc but just does NOT FEEL THE SAME as the original ones. If I knew, I would have stocked up on the originals.
