Been wearing Purcells for years. I have flat feet so I prefer the Purcells over All Stars, as they give me more room. These are a classic staple that should be in your closest! I love that they changed the bottoms to white and added some traction. It’s make the shoe much more sleek in my opinion (before it was the blue, flat bottoms). They do run a tad bit big, so if your used to sizing down in All Stars do not do that for Purcells. I still opt for my true size because the fit is more comfortable for me.

GLAD I PURCHASED THESE AFTER READING SO MANY CONFLICTING REVIEWS ABOUT SNEAKERS SCRAPING THE BACK OF FOOTS, BEING TOO LONG (THIS GRIPE IS TRUE-U MIGHT WANT TO SIZE DOWN), NOT ENOUGH SOLE CUSHION, ET CETERA, ET CETERA, ET CETERA!! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!, BUY THEM NOW! YOU WON’T REGRET IT AND U CAN ALWAYS RETURN THEM EASILY. I’M ROCKIN THEM WITH A ‘V NECK T , SHORT CHINOS AND NO SHOW SOCKS AS I’M WRITING THIS REVIEW AND WHEN I’M OUT AND ABOUT DURING THESE HOT SUMMER DAYS IN THE CITY LOOKING VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER . HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
Ordered these for my 15 year old and they fit TTS. Look great and are a nice add to a wardrobe that’s a lot of athletic wear. Good looking shoe - now just need to teach him the virtue of the no-show sock.

Worn this tennis shoe for 20 years. Suddenly, this year, the shape is different( wider) and the rubbertoe lip is a different shape, shorter. Just NOT the classic we all knew and loved. Doesn’t even have the blue/green sole.
