These shoes are comfortable, classy, chic and beautiful on my foot. The material is substantial and fine quality. These fit me very well, as Munro shoes always have. My foot is hard to fit, so I feel like I found a treasure in these shoes. They can be dressy or worn with pants in a casual setting. Great shoes.
When I first discovered Munro’s Cindi at Nordstrom, perhaps eight or more years ago, I was so pleased with my first pair – navy blue – that I bought three more – black, brown, and another navy – within the following two years. About four years ago, my sister saw me wearing them and liked them so much, I gave her a pair for her birthday. When it was time to replace my black pair, I visited several Nordstrom stores, only to learn that Munro had stopped making the Cindi, but instead had issued a new model. It did not fit as well. I searched the Internet, but there were no Cindi’s to be found. Nordstrom’s shoe clerks lamented, along with the me, “Why would Munro stop making its most popular model?” I asked. Not one to give up easily, I even tried Ebay for the Cindi, but the few available were not my size. Earlier this month, my sister asked me if I could buy her another pair of Cindi’s, telling me her Cindi’s were the only comfortable shoes she had, even though she – like moi – had a closet full of shoes. Sad to say, I had to tell her the bad news that Munro was no longer making the Cindi. Yet again, I went to the Internet using a wider search and to my very pleasant surprise, Nordstrom and four other vendors showed as having the Cindi. I immediately ordered a pair from Nordstrom, wanting to make sure they were the same shoe and as comfortable as the previous model before I ordered more. They are!!!!! And I’ll be ordering more very soon. Currently, the only Cindi colors available are black and navy. It would be very nice to have this model in other colors – wine, for example, or the new, fashionable multi-colored or floral print. Ah, just dreaming.
Read the reviews so ordered half size smaller from 8 to7 1/2 and wider, from med. To wide. Fit is perfect. I have bad feet at 80 years old so need a comfortable, yet stylish shoe. These were both. Looks good with dresses or pants. Love these shoes.
This shoe is perfect for business travel. I can walk comfortably for long distances and still feel suitably dressed for even the most important meeting.
