Quality Isn't What It Was

I had read that the quality of the Allen Edmonds shoe had gone down. It has been a few years since I bought a pair and was in need of a black pair. So, I gave them a go and was really disappointed. The first pair I received were pretty beat up out of the box. I exchanged them, got another pair and those were even worse. So, another return, another pair, and these were the best of the 3 pairs so I kept them. If I wasn't using a gift card I would have been done after the second pair. They're decent shoes but they certainly don't live up to the Allen Edmonds name...or price point.
