Park Avenue Cap Toe

I love these shoes because of their classic design. The quality and finish of the leather really set them apart. I had gotten a pair of black cap toe oxfords from a different brand, but the leather didn't compare. Although I got these on sale, they were still a little expensive. However, if they last me 15-20 years, they'll be worth it.

Poor Quality Control

I ordered two pairs on sale. One pair was a matte finish and the right shoe was too narrow (not consistent with other AE 65 last shoes I own in the same size and width). The second pair was polished finish and the uppers did not match when laced: one shoe the uppers were parallel when laced and the other shoe the uppers formed a classic AE “V” pattern when laced.
Both pairs were returned.

I have been purchasing your shoes for over 20 years and the quality of the product has declined slightly in my opinion.
I am sure that this is due to world competition and the price range of the product .

Not worth the money

I bought these and the McAllisters about a year ago. The McAllisters are more comfortable and are wearing better. I rotate so that I never wear either shoe more than 3 days a week. The Park Avenues already have a hole in both soles. I work in a carpeted office? I am told my only option is a re-craft. For this price, I can buy a new pair of an inexpensive brand every year for a few years! I expected better quality for this price. This quality is not worth the money.

If a leather sole if wearing too quickly for your needs, we recommend considering styles with dense rubber soles such as the Dainite rubber sole.
