[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking shoe. Fit a little tight width wise but will wear for a couple weeks and then see if it needs a tweak. Quality is great. Colour is awesome. Cheers

The Park Avenue with Dainite Rubber is a great shoe.

This shoe represents the excellence and classic style that Allen Edmonds has always stood for. I found the shoe to be too narrow, and had to send it back for the next width up. I was told that the shoe is designed to look slimmer and longer, and therefore runs narrow. I am disappointed that comfort would be sacrificed for style, and make the customer have to go up a size in width anyway. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. But, I love the shoe. I ordered the Dainite rubber sole. I like it. I'm getting to the point that the leather is too hard to walk on for me. The Dainite sole does not degrade the quality of the shoe in my opinion. People are moving towards rubber soles and away from leather, from my observation.

Ordered one of these for a wedding and upon opening the box you can tell they put in the effort on presentation. Comes with a nice box and two separate cotton baggys for each shoes. Loved it, I'm no expert on shoes so stitching looked fine. I plan on taking care of these shoes for as long as I can because of the price. The shoelaces however were terrible. The tip of the shoelace was already broken, so the tip has expanded so that if I wanted to relace it I would have to get a small pin to force the shoelaces in. Why they sent it out like that I will never know. Now I have great shoes but shoelaces are fluffed at the tip, or I can spend more money on new shoelaces which I shouldn't have too
