Production flaw on inside tongue of shoe

I have purchased many Allen Edmonds shoes over the years and prefer Park Avenue as my dress shoe. I was delighted when this shoe became available with the Dainite sole as I work in healthcare and spend much of my day walking. Unfortunately, the right shoe has a production defect in the leather on the underside of the tongue which presses against the top of my foot causing pain in every step that I take. Initially, I thought that I just needed to break these shoes in but I have worn them for 2 weeks and I can no longer stand the pain. I will reach out to Customer Service today for assistance. This is the first time that I have experienced such a problem with Allen Edmonds shoes. KB

The fit for this shoe is fantastic. It arrived on time. Love the look and love the fact that it has a rubber sole. I prefer rubber soles to others because of versatility/practicality.

The flagship of AE shoes. I have four pairs in different colors. Good support throughout the day. Wish the soles were a little thicker.
