Since I watched the great Gene Hackman in 'French connection', I fell in love with allen edmonds Park Avenue. I suppose he wore this outstanding shoe, and I wonder if he still wears them.- Anyhow , I wear them. They are my Harley on my feet.

Nice walnut shoe! True in length and width with a rich walnut color which is great. I can wear them with jeans or a suit. Well made and made in the USA. Just keep adding more Allen Edmonds shoes to diversify my collection. Buying more. The only reason these did not get five stars, is the fact I rate the top of the line Independence collection five stars.

The perfect men's dress shoe.

For my first ever pair of AEs, I just had to go with the quintessential dress shoe; the Park Avenue. I needed something to wear with a blue suit, and I went with Dark Chili. I absolutely love the color! Not too dark, not too red, not too purple, not too orange, just a great looking, versatile color. The shoes fit great, and the exceptional quality is very obvious. I was so impressed that I just got my second pair of AEs (black Fith Avenues).
