Great shoes!! Very comfortable and the color is exquisite and unique. The look is classic, but modern. The color goes with a variety of color combinations. They fit like a glove on the first wear.
This shoemaker has the craft down.

My Co-Workers Tell Me That I Will Come to Love Them
Five stars for Nordstrom service. Three stars so far on the black pair that I've been wearing for about a month. Frankly, I bought these because the other guys in the office rave about Allen Edmonds and consider them the gold standard of dress shoes. The cap on the left toe was slightly mis-aligned on the initial pair which caused the crease to break across the cap. Nordstrom's took back with no questions asked and shipped me a new pair which arrived in two days.
My 8 1/2 Ds are very true to size. The shoes seem to be breaking in relatively quickly. On the right shoe there is a slight gap that opens between the leather and the foot below the outside ankle. Not a big deal. The leather has a nice grain and is developing a gloss with regular polishing. Hopefully in the next few months they will live up to the hype.

Not my first pair of Allen Edmonds, but still pleasantly surprised with how great these shoes are. After some time figuring the right size, these shoes are fantastic. They are simple, yet stylish. I've gotten nothing but compliments.
