AE's are the best value in mid- to high-end shoes. American made. Last forever and can be refurb'ed by AE. Plus a great Nordstrom price...

I was looking for a nice black dress shoe to wear for formal occasions, and I couldn't be happier with the "Park Ave". These shoes are beautiful and the cap toe just makes it more interesting then a regular black shoe.

I bought a pair of these shoes, Merlot in color, and I've had no problems with them. I find them to be very comfortable, stylish and all around good shoes. I couldn't wait to get my first pair of AE's in the mail and they didn't disappoint when I finally wore them. I wear them with either my blue suit or my grey suit. They complement the suit so well. No way to go wrong with a pair of AE shoes.

Heel cracks & then starts to fall off

I LOVE Nordstroms & love Allend Edmunds. BUT....this shoe heel falls apart. I purchased 2 pairs for my husband over the anniversary sale. Price was great & look- perfect! Unfortunately, BOTH pairs (black & brown) the heel cracked & started to fall off after only wearing them twice. My husband just walked around the office. This should have never happened to a shoe only worn twice. (especially at this price!!) I am soooo disappointed as I really wanted the shoes to work out. :( On a positive note, Nordstrom took them back no questions asked. I'm glad I got my credit, but would have preferred if they did not fall apart & my husband could have kept them.
