The shoes themselves are not bad. However, the quality is not as good as I was expecting based on reviews from colleagues and/or the website. The first pair I ordered had a small rip in the leather, so I returned them and re-ordered the exact same pair - with the dainite sole. Unfortunately, the pair I received was the leather sole and not the dainite. I kept them though as I needed the shoes for travel and work and did not have time to return/get another pair shipped again. I should have returned them, though, as there was some sort of imperfection (like a hard knot in the lining/stitching around the ankle) on one of the shoes and then the leather started to separate from the stitching around the same spot as the imperfection. Now I have an expensive pair of shoes, that are okay comfort, but the quality control and attention to detail (regarding the items being shipped) are something left to be desired. In short, not worth the price or hype.
