I purchased a pair of Park Avenue Oxfords (dark chili burnished) this past week. They arrived via FedEx within 3-4 days. The shoes are beautiful in the photo on the web, but in person they are absolutely elegant.
I now have four pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. They fit perfectly, are comfortable to wear throughout the work day, and are really beautiful shoes. I have cedar shoe trees for each pair of my dress shoes. The only time that the shoe tree isn't in the shoe is when I am wearing the shoe. I buy the shoe trees from nordstrom.com for $19.95.
With multiple pairs, the shoes will have about a week before wearing them again. My next pair will be either some AE boots (the wingtip dress boots) or the Strand model with colored laces.
I bought these shoes for my son and he really likes them, in the burnished chili color. They look great, fit well, and are comfortable to wear all day. He usually wears a size 11 in sneakers and a size 10.5 M in dress shoes. He took the 10.5 M and they fit perfectly.
