Sent me something from their returns department...

Unbelievable. The package literally came directly from their returns department. The toes are misshapen with dents and marks. The leather looks creased already, like they've been worn. It's insulting that they would send this to me. Now I have to deal with the hassle of a return.

I purchased a pair of cap toes a month ago, upon closer inspection during shining I noticed the stitching in the welt wasn't consistent. There's also a big mark where the leather meets the sole. The quality rumors are true. It's my first pair of AE and it's not the most memorable. Very sad indeed....

I’m finally updating a review I wrote a while ago. After 6 months of use my opinion has changed significantly. The shoes look good, there’s no denying that. So I give them that. That’s where the positives end, however. I was so excited that they offered a EEE, but they don’t do it correctly. Instead of making a physically wider sole, they’ve just added leather so your wide foot is very uncomfortably balancing on a narrow strip of leather and rubber. There’s not a lot of consistency. The left shoe fits my heel fine, the right is quite painful and has never fit my heel shape well. The cork insole has to be the worst idea ever. It’s horribly uncomfortable and has actually caused me to suffer some muscle injuries because of it. The only way I can even wear these for more than a few hours is with the thinnest dr scholls inserts I could get in just for some level of comfort. In terms of durability, the right shoes sole has already begun to split at the front of the shoe. In my humble opinion these are in no way worth the cost, and are in no way designed to be walked in. If you have an office job where you sit most of the day you may be fine, but I was going for just a good looking uniform shoe with a useful sole... it should not be used for that. Lol these were not made for walking.
