I expected this pair of shoes to be breathtaking from all the hype out there about Allen Edmonds shoes. However, that was not an emotion i felt at all. I think it might have been due to the fact that after inspecting the shoe i was pretty bummed out. One of the shoe's welt had about an 1/16 gap from from making it all the way around. The outer soles had small punctures as if it was resting on top of a nail bed. Uppon onboxing of the shoes, the presentation wasn't at all impressive, and the box although not important had tears on it. For such a prestigious company the quality control needs work. Sadly i tried and wanted to keep the shoes, but i ended up returning them. It is sad that as my first pair of Park ave, i had to go through such a disappointment. Sorry Allen Edmonds shoes, i may have to look elsewhere.

This is a quality shoe that is built to last. Has terrific arch support. A professional shine on the factory hand burnishing finish gives the shoe a good luster. Allen Edmonds shoes are a good investment.

I have purchased two pairs of Park Avenue style shoes as graduation gifts. High school and college graduates need a serious pair of dress shoes for serious occasions. Park Avenue styling is timeless and recrafting makes shoes with worn heels and soles good as new for much less than cost of new shoes.

Beautiful workmanship and comfortable out of the box. Initially wore them around the house for about 4 hours over two days. Very comfortable after that.
