I love these shoes! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned and unlike many shoes, I didn't need to break them in. I'm on my second pair.

First time AE purchase

I was amazed at the comfort from the start of my cap toe Oxford. I was sized as an 11 but the shoe that actually fit was a size 10. Customer service was outstanding. I have purchased a second pair since. The Alpine boot. Same as above.

I wore the shoes one time and had to return the shoe to AE because the finish on the toe cap would not take polish. I do not know if it was a flaw in the leather or if the leather was not adequately dyed. The shoes have been return to recrafting for repair. I have purchased several pair of AE shoes. This is the first time I experience any issue with the quality of AE shoes.
