These shoes are beautiful, but take some time breaking in. Be careful at first walking on soft smooth surfaces such as carpet.
Unfortunately my pair were supplied with different size laces between the L and R shoe, making the left one difficult to lace up. It is at least 6” shorter in total length than the right lace. Would request that AE send out a replacement pair of proper length.

Not what they used to be.

I have been purchasing Allen Edmonds shoes for over twenty-five shoes but have noticed a decline in quality in recent years. This last pair of Park Avenues were very disappointing - the finish on the leather looked glossy and cheap. I’m afraid this will be last AE shoes that I buy.

Classic office shoes with safety sole

An excellent pair of shoes for the office; classic presidential style. This is my second pair of Park Avenue‘s, this pair in black in the first pair in ox blood (my favorite shoes ever). They were made to order, and I could still smell the adhesive the assemblers used! Very fresh. Please note: the Dianite soles are much heavier than the classic leather soles. On the other hand, they give you a nice barrier between the ground and your feet.
