I just received my Veronica boots this week. They seem a bit stiff so far, but I'm hoping after a bit of breaking in they'll be like butter. I'm a true 7.5, and did see reviews that said they run small. However, too big and you'll get blisters and flopping so I'm sticking with the 7.5s, and keeping my fingers crossed. I have a feeling it may be a bit of a painful break in process, but they are worth it. A great new staple in my wardrobe. Hopefully not too many band-aids needed.
I have several pairs of Frye boots - and I love them all. I work on my feet, and can wear my Frye's all day. Unfortunately, these boots do not have the same feel. My heel rides up in the boot, and the sole is exceptionally heavy. Had to return them! I'll keep shopping for the perfect everyday black boot!
These boots are well made, comfortable and true to fit. Very attractive. I had to unbuckle them the first few times I wore -- but, once the leather started to stretch a bit, they became easy to pull on.
I have had this frye boot for five years and it has held up beautifully. It is finally starting to look worn out so I decided to get a new pair. This new pair is still as comfortable but I like the shaft of the boot even better. The slouch is a little bit stiffer so it really stays us but still looks relaxed. This boot is worth the price because it is comfortable, goes with everything and lasts for years.
