I love these boots! I have purchased other brands and keep going back to Frye. You cannot beat the quality of these boots. They can be won with casual dresses, leggings or jeans! I like the lower heel for comfort and stability in bad weather, a must have in everyone's wardrobe!

I am always a 5.5 and that size in these boots gave me terrible blisters. The 6 fits great though!

After reading all the positive reviews, I was so excited to wait for the arrival of the boots.
The leather is quite stiff, it might soften overtime, but I own many boots and were soft out of box, so I am not sure how soft this pair can go. I understood they are called engineer boots, but the heels and soles are heavy. Walking around my living room already made my feet tired. The biggest concern I have is the heels, they are huge, my socks (ankles socks, not those no-show ones) are quickly rubbed off my feet only by walking from my living room to my bedroom (it is a small one-bed room apartment). I though maybe this pair are outliers, so I tried another pair. They run slightly smaller, but same issues of stiff leather, heavy soles and huge heels. I hate to return them, but I just can't wear them.
Nordstrom always ace their services, I definitely will by again from them.

Second pair of Veronica slouch boots, first were the brown ones. I love them. First pair I have been wearing all over Europe for the past four years lots of cobble stone uneven walking and they are still in perfect condition. I can't wait to wear these black ones this fall!
