I own several frye boots and these are the same high quality I expect from frye. They can be dressed up or down and I get lots of compliments on them. Be warned though, they aren't very slouchy as promised by the name but I actually prefer them the way they are. My only complaint is that they seem to be particularly tight around my ankles, maybe because of the stitching on the boots in that area? I'll continue to give them a go but if they remain snug around the ankles, I might sadly have to give them up.
They gave me terrible blisters and i cant put them on my feet! where else are you gonna put them? on your hands? Anyway, I kept them because they are beautiful!
I have wanted Frye boots for so long and finally treated myself. Sometimes the Frye boots look a little too "Western" for me, but these 'Veronica Slouch' have a nice, balanced look. I've now worn them three full days in the last week and have not experienced any discomfort. Since these don't have a zipper they can be a little difficult to put on and take off, but it seems to be getting easier each time.
