Unfortunately, I had to send back this pair pf Frye's. The leather on the boot shaft is extremely stiff, and looked cheap aside from being uncomfortable.
The Veronica Slouch is a wardrobe essential, and I now have both the brown and black. Looks great with jeans, leggings and dresses/skirts. The leather is fantastic quality, durable, and improves with age (and a little care). This is the go-to boot for me! Not flashy but oozes classic style. SO comfortable. Without a doubt, my favorite boots are FRYE, and these are a great addition to any girl's closet. Believe me, you will wonder how you lived without these boots!
I had another pair in brown, I loved them so much, had to go out and get the black leather one. One thing I did notice about this one is that the leather is much harder. I'm hoping they break in and become more "Slouchy" as the name implies. Overall, great fit, I bought 1/2 size up so I could wear thicker socks. I also went with the wide calf so I can easily wear over jeans.
