I have tried numerous brands over the years and I always come back to Spanx tights. They hold you in without causing you to feel like you are suffocating and they last for a long time. I usually pick up 2 - 3 pairs per season and, with regular rotation, they hold up well. Highly recommend!
These are the only tights I'll wear. They give good shape without being constricting, and are almost totally opaque without being heavy. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. I wash mine on the hand-wash cycle and lay them flat to dry, and they last multiple seasons without a run or hole. They do run a little large, so if you're on the border between two sizes I would suggest going with the smaller size.

These are my go to tights! They run true to size, are very durable and are the perfect way to smooth things out without feeling like you are being "squeezed."
