The compression sox ere true to description. NO elastic band but enough graduated compression to remain up and in place on your legs. The compression helps to reduce swelling if standing or sitting for long periods without binding. The sizes are ample so do not select the larger size if you are borderline. The toe seam is very light and soft. They are very comfortable and wash well.
I love the graduated compression, and I have a plus sized calf. These provide good support and never bind. I just wish they came in more colors. (shades of brown? Grey?)

Great knee-highs

These are the best knee highs I've ever worn. They stay in place very firmly, and do not dig into the skin or flesh. They never leave a mark. The fabric is very soft and the socks launder well. The compression is supportive but not uncomfortable.
