The literal best boots on the market

The SW 5050 (and lowland) boots are the best boots money can buy. I swear by them and wear them every day. I loved my first pair so much (in black leather napa) that I bought them in black suede, followed by 3 pairs of lowlands - grey, black suede and black leather. I love these boots more than anything and they are worth EVERY penny! The best investment you can make. If you are debating getting them and doubting it even slightly, don't hesitate! You will not regret it.
I actually don't agree very much about them running large. I usually wear a 9.5 and I wear a 9.5 in these comfortably with whatever socks I like. I have one pair that are a 9 (they were on sale and I couldn't resist) and they are tighter and I have to wear with very thin socks and can't wear them all day.

I don't usually wear knee boots...under or over the knee, but my life changed when I tried these on. I LOVE them. I can wear them all day and my feet still feel so comfortable at the end of the day when I take them off. I am having so much fun in my closet creating new outfits to wear with them. With the stretchy fabric in the back of the boot, they fit so nicely and make my legs look so shapely compared to the all leather boots. With the over the knee styling, my legs look long and lean. They are worth every penny.
I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter who is 5'9" and 130 pounds. The boots barely came over her knees. She returned them for a different style that was longer and covered her knees.

I bought these about 4-5 yrs ago from the Nordstrom at Pentagon City in Virginia. I lived in DC and walked to and from work and home. I also managed a wine/liquor store on M Street and constantly had to lift cases of wine (sometimes up and down stairs) but I still needed to look nice for work and be comfortable. I now live in Atlanta, Ga (for 2 yrs) and while I may not get as much use out of them now, I still wear them when I can and while in DC, I wore them almost everyday when it was cold outside and they are still in great shape. My only complaint is that the elasticity has stretched out too much from having to take them on and off and I have very thin legs so I feel like they make my legs look bigger than I want them too....however, that's after 4-5 yrs worth of wear. They do run large though. I wear and 8.5-9 and I bought these in a size 9 so that I could wear a sock that was a bit thicker and they are still a bit loose. They didn't have the 8.5 and I was too impatient to wait for the right size. The size 8 fits me if I wear a thin dress sock. I love these boots...I just wish I could afford a brand new pair.
