Based on the reviews, I was expecting so much from this boot. It is beautiful on the front side; however, the backside looks like a therapeutic knee sock. It bunches up at the ankle when wearing, and shows any creases from jeans or leggings. It is anything but "sleek" as the description states. The boot looks very unsophisticated from the back.
It is comfortable, but I have boots for under $200 that are just as comfortable, if not more. It runs big, I usually wear an 8.5 boot, but the 8 fit perfect. If you are tall (I'm 5'9"), the boot will not cover your knee.
These boots are definitely going back - not worth $650!!!

I was looking for a stylish flat boot that I could wear during my long 12hr shifts. So far this is the best I could find.
Pros: good quality leather, narrow calf Cons: it sags around the ankle and after long hours it can hurt
I short, it has the looks but not the comfort some other brands like Aquatalia offer.

The black nappa are gorgeous boots with supple leather and lovely fitted style. The footbed is extremely comfortable. I generally wear a size 9 in shoes, but went with the 8.5 in these boots and they fit perfectly. I have another pair of SW boots, also in 8.5, so I think it must be a difference in this brand's sizing. I am 5'11" so the boots don't go quite as high as on others, but they are the tallest shaft of any over the knee boots I could find, and they fit my calves so well!
I live in Seattle, so was concerned about wearing them in rain, but the stretch part in the back is quite strong/thick so it is fine light drizzle. I would not recommend wearing these in heavy rain.
The boots really are so unique, stylish and wonderful! Be prepared for a lot of compliments, and the desire to buy them in every color!

Wearing these shoes is like wearing lululemon tights that extend into a shoe. They are so comfortable and the leather is so soft. These shoes exceeded my expectations.
