I debated for a long time before I decided to purchase these boots. I was greatly impressed by the quality of the leather upon receiving them. These boots are very versatile - I usually wear them with an over-sized sweater and leggings for a more casual look. I do recommend going down half a size. I made the mistake of ordering my usual size and it's too big!
These are the best OTK boots around, they are so flattering and are great quality! These are my go to boots for fall and winter. They are very slimming, I feel comfortable wearing them with a baggy sweater despite my small frame. And just to clarify, I know a lot of reviewers have mentioned that these boots were not designed for shorter people - I am 4' 11'' and 104 lbs and if anything these pups make me look taller. I always get comments on how great they look, and my husband is always suggesting I wear them. The only thing I would say is size down! I am normally a 7 and I purchased a 6.5 which I can wear comfortably with wool socks.
This is my second pair of 50/50 boots I have purchased from Nordstrom. I also own the black nappa leather ones which I wear quite often. This pair is blue suede which I have to be a little more cautious wearing this winter but plan to wear them a lot! These boots are beautifully made and super comfortable. I'm sure this will not be the last pair of 50/50s I add to my boot collection. Make sure to buy a full size smaller as these run large- as SW generally does in most of their collections.
I'm 5'11" and these are perfect for slim tall legs. The leather is beautiful and wears well. They will last for years. Worth the investment. Wardrobe staple. My favorite most comfy shoe!
