Sadly, Bobbi Brown is phasing out these long-wear cream shadows in favor of the overpriced stick shadows. The cream shadows were easily layered and sculpted, would last all day, and came in the more environmentally conscious glass pot. The stick shadows crease, are clunky to use (have to use a brush for precision and to dig out product from the tube), and are ridiculously overpriced for the amount of product that breaks off or dries out in the plastic tube. Bobbi Brown has lost a loyal customer, RIP long-wear cream shadow.
This is my new favorite everyday eyeshadow! The Sandy Gold shade is just perfect, and it's so versatile. It looks great on its own as a quick & easy all-over eyeshadow, and it also works fabulously as a base shade or eyelid primer. It also somehow manages to last all day on my semi-oily eyelids: MAGIC! The Sandy Gold does have a tiny bit of shimmer, but it's very subtle. For me, it's the perfect amount of shimmer: *just* noticeable enough to be flattering and interesting.
I've been wearing Bobbi Brown's cream eye shadow for years and love it. I especially like the color sand dollar but have the cream shadow in other colors too. But for day to day sand dollar works for me.
