I have tried a few different mascaras and find this one to work well on my senior citizen eyes! Good coverage but not too thick.

Terrible :( Worst mascara I’ve ever used

My favorite mascara by IT cosmetics was discontinued so I’ve been searching for something similar- mostly looking for wand type that’s small and has the rounded tip which is perfect for getting corners. This wand looked similar, as did formula. Worst mascara I’ve ever purchased, especially when you factor in price. The first swipe onto bottom of lashes it deposited just a thick clump of mascara. I wiped the wand as clean as possible of all mascara so I could spread the mascara up to the top of my lashes. Didn’t work. Still just a huge deposit at lash base. Grabbed the old IT wand and tried to use that wand with the Chanel mascara on my other eye and it was a less severe deposit of mascara but still looked terrible. My lashes are medium to long length and relatively thick (somehow with age my lashes have gone haywire and grow in different directions) so I’m used to having to work them into pretty, evenly covered lashes but that was impossible with this mascara, and certainly not possible with the wand. The mascara just made my lashes look short and stubby and stick straight. I’m 41 and I’ve been wearing mascara for at least 28 years, and I’ve never used a more terrible mascara I’m my life. What the heck Chanel?!
I’ve gone through a number of high-end mascaras recently trying to find one that will thicken my lashes, links in my lashes, and make them black. I didn’t expect this to be an impossible quest but it’s kind of turning out that way. Chanel‘s in imitable mascara definitely makes my lashes black. I think it lengthen some someone want to but there’s not any thickening going on. I am keeping this tube of inevitable because it’s the best thing I’ve been able to find so far. That doesn’t mean I’m happy with it it just means the others have been worse.
