I find silk a bit cooler than silk in the summer. Although I haven't worn this yet I plan to take it to Nashville's hot climate. When traveling, I like to wash tees and drip/dry (on inflatable hangers,) and I think this one will equal my much older EF silk tank which I depend upon. Maybe not as crisp as ironing but quite passable.
The quality is great. I use this top when traveling as it washes well and dries quickly. As with most of this brand's products ,it runs big,so order a size larger than whatyou usually wear. Nice black color. .

Looking to buy my second black one. Could not imagine sorrow if first one wears out. I dry clean all black items so no idea on washing. I think it runs true to size. Just not as boxy as usual Eileen Fisher fit.

I love it in black but found the white to be too revealing. Would buy other colors but haven't seen them.
