This is a great tee, in black, for layering. I usually wear a medium but it was too fitted for me and the large was perfect. The neckline is higher than the EF tanks, a good change for winter. The material is a nice weight and the cut is slimming. I like it so much I ordered another one.
I have owned these silk jersey l/s tops for years. Some are size S or M, black, white or purple-blue, but all are still with me. They wear like iron n if you can get it on sale (I just bought the black on sale at Nordstrom) all the better. I have the s/s version as well n it too is a staple in my wardrobe. I would recommend not ironing it as my housekeeper had in the past unless you want the neck to become stretched out. I usually dry clean all my black EF clothing but when I've traveled with them, I just rinse them out and lay them out to dry which works great! I honestly have had much better luck with these tops than with the linen jersey tops which mine tend to get holes in them. You can't go wrong with these tops. Enjoy!

What can I say, this thin but not see-through tee is a perfect layering piece. Machine washed (gentle) and air dry, they seem to last forever.
I'm a slim, 5'2" with an...ahem...generous chest. Still, Eileen Fisher's tops are so large that I wear an XS. In other brands, I'm a medium. Your sizing may vary...
