I have not purchased a Lacoste shirt in over 5 years. I didn't recall them fitting smaller than I expected. It could just be the Pique style but it is not a "slim fit" so that shouldn't matter much. Still a very soft, comfortable shirt that I love the way it looks.

I always fit in a size 5 (I imagine the European size) but now come to find out a 5 is a men's large in the US--just when I had figured out the old sizing.
Great shirt, well-made, colors true. My spouse wears a 44 R jacket and is always an L, but he took an XL in this shirt. An L would have been very form-fitting and not attractive.
