Laura Mercier changed the formula for this perfume, and it's a horrible new scent, with no similarity to the gourmande perfume I've used for years.
I requested an answer from LM and they confirmed that "as for now, the formula change is permanent". I' m so disapointed, and are now searching for a new perfume (and a new favourite brand)!!!!

Prossweet, cloying, sugary
I supposed if you want an overly sweet gourmand fragrance, this one is a good choice. I liked the scent at first sniff because of its sweetness, but it quickly became too cloying and cotton-candy like for my taste. I found it too immature-smelling for what I was looking for. Fortunately, I found what I wanted in Laura Mercier's L'Heure Magique.

The BEST Frasgrance Ever!

I love Creme Brulee. It is possibly the best fragrance ever. Not too perfumey as I am allergic to most perfumes and can't wear them, but this, I have no problems with. The first time I smelt this fragrance was when a woman from the laura Mercier counter was doing my make-up. It has a very subtle fragrance, and by the time I had finished getting my make-up done, I had to have this as I couldn't get it out of my mind. I always get compliments when wearing this fragrance:)
