Best Down Ever

Proswarm, lightweight, super nice, quality
This is it - the down blanket I have been searching for! It is lightweight, covers my king mattress just so (not too long, not too wide), and it keeps me warm, not cool, not cold, not hot, just warm, just right. How can such a lightweight blanket keep me warm at just the right temperature all night long? It is amazing, love it!

Live in the cold mid-west and this blanket is great. Love that its not too thick but so warm. And since its not thick, it does not slide off the bed at night.

Prosfor cooler nites, 2 warm for summe
Unfortunately I am returning this nice midweight cotton blanket. After reading the reviews I did realize that this is the heavier of the 2 blankets that the Westin Heavenly Bed linen line offers, but decided to give it a try since Nordstrom is so easy to work with, free shipping/free returns. The Westin online ordering isn't free. But with this blanket, I woke up because of being too warm. It's May in Chicago and our weather can be cool or hot, which it has been both during my trial period. So if you run warmer at night, I don't think this is the blanket for you. Might try the lighter one from the Westin website when I have some time. I absolutely love my vacations in our Westin timeshares and Westin hotels because of the Heavenly bed and all the linens. The lighter blanket is my favorite item but sadly only sold on Westin website. Happy Shopping.

Southern Star blanket

I'll preface this review by saying that this is a really nice down blanket and I really like it. However, I returned this blanket because after I ordered it, I found out that this is actually the Westin Home Collection's mid-weight down blanket and not light-weight like I had thought. Westin Home Collection offers two different down blankets --- the southern star, which is their mid-weight blanket, and the tropical star, which is their light-weight blanket. The information is on Westin Home's website in the FAQ section. Nordstrom's description doesn't actually state which Westin down blanket this is, but the description mentions "lightweight down," so I assumed it was the light-weight blanket. Anyway, after I placed my order, I saw on my invoice through my Nordstrom account that 'southern star' down blanket was listed. Interestingly, I could only find this information looking up my invoice through my Nordstrom account as it was not stated on the invoice that was emailed to me. I did test drive the blanket and I really like it but it was a bit too warm for me so I have since returned the blanket and placed my order for the tropical star light-weight blanket directly through Westin Home. Hopefully, Nordstrom changes the description and elaborates on it so future buyers will know exactly what they're getting.
