Queen to King Upgrade

Upgraded bed from Queen to King, I had the Queen Duvet Insert, and would never look anywhere else for a Duvet Insert again. This is the only insert you ever need.
I sweat easily and this is the perfect Duvet Insert for someone like me. Always warm enough Summer or Winter, never do I sweat.
We have had a Westin down duvet insert from several years ago from Nordstrom. It has served us well, but it was time to either have it refilled with more down or to get a new one. I decided to splurge and just get a new one!
The newer ones now have a thicker fabric that is designed to keep the feathers from slipping out so easily. Our older one had a silky fabric. I will say that this newer fabric has more body and is a bit more "crunchy" as you move around, but it is definitely more substantial and seems better suited to maintain the down in the comforter.
We bought the Heavenly Bed sheet/duvet/etc set. Living in Dallas, we don't have many cold nights, so we got the lightweight version. The insert works well with the matching duvet cover.
A nice touch (that we didn't notice until we had it for a few weeks): it has four loops in the corners that match the small straps on the inside of the duvet cover to keep it from moving around.

This is a heavy weight comforter for those really cold nights. It is a nice 'dress-up' for the bed when used with the duvet cover.
