nice soft fabric but too big!

Prossized improperly
The quality of all of the Westin hotel bedding is very nice and soft. However, the pillow cases are not sized correctly. My king pillows were dwarfed in the king cases. I then ordered the standard case, thinking that might work, but that was too small. I even called the division of Westin Hotels that handles the residential line of linens and they knew exactly what I was talking about....the representative said that they were aware of this, the linens are made in europe, etc... Not sure how that is relevant or why they don't correct this in the manufacturing process. In any case, that representative suggested washing the pillow cases to shrink them, which I did. They did shrink a little, but not enough, they are still way too long for my king pillows. I then called nordstrom customer service who suggested I bring them to my local store so that alterations could tailor them to fit properly. I haven't done this yet, and so far have been using them with this ridiculously long amount of fabric that far exceeds the length of the pillow. So, all in all, nice linens, just not sized correctly. p.s. I had the same issue with the Westin king pillow shams and sent them back!

Prosa nice surprise
I have had the pleasure of staying at the Westin hotels for years. I always looked forward to these bed coverings and finally broke down and purchased the set at Nordstrom anniversary sale. Very pleased with duvet and comforter. I agree that the pillow cases are much to long, I have adjusted using queen for king size pillows and std for queen size. I love the feel of this set.

Way too big

These pillowcases are WAY too big...the standard/queen pillowcase is EIGHT inches longer than the heavenly bed queen/standard pillow (and any other standard pillow, for that matter). Am I missing something?

The "standard/queen" really fit a king size pillow, not a standard or queen. They are way too big. That said, I love the quality of the bedding.
