This is my favorite Kohl for ever This is perfect product, i’m really so happy to find it .. I use this product about 15 years ago I can not do without it never :) Thank you Guerlain so much for the beautiful product and Thank you for Nordstrom for provider the lovely product..❤️❤️❤️
I love this eyeliner and have used it in brown and black. If you want to smudge it you need to do it immediately after applying because once you get it on it STAYS ON!
I was very excited to find real Kohl on the market! I used it years ago but then it disappeared from the market. I even contacted a friend who lived in Beirut to find it for me and she said all the women there used Sisley eye pencils that contained kohl but not the powder... I am happy to finally find real kohl powder! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the container looks good in the photos but in real life it looks like plastic which it is. Somehow though, it does not have static which lets it coat the applicator well even in the frigid weather we have been having in the northeast. Also it is annoying to have to prop up the container. So 5 stars for the product but 4 for the container.
I have been using this liner religiously since it first came out!!! I love all the colors that were available with this item. I really wish they would offer they gray steel one again, and maybe a burgundy. But, I have consistently used the Noir and Brun shades. There is a little glimmer, so it isn't a flat shade. It gives definition and life around the eyes...especially gray-blue eyes that can get lost, because they are light.
It wears the longest on me of any waterline liner. The trick is to give the vial a little shake, unscrew the applicator. Give it a little tap on the way out. Then hold the stick horizontal to your eye, Touch the stick down to where you want to start your line on the waterline, and then close your eyes and drag the stick across (between the lids) in one-fell-swoop. Then keep your eye closed for about 30 seconds to allow the product to set on the waterline. I usually do this first, before doing the rest of my makeup. You can retouch through the day, if needed. I also am a nurse, like one of the other responders, and I don't have time to fix my makeup all day. It goes on once and stays (mostly) for 12 hours.
You can also tap a little out, and mix with liner drops from Bare Minerals. It can create a wet liner to use like a traditional liner (NOT on the water line) but that lasts ALL DAY like IRON! You can wiggle it right up into the lashes or make a traditional winged look. Super versatile. Lasts FOREVER and is worth every penny. Way more than pencils and liquids that go bad over time. I hope they NEVER stop making this product!!!
