Best dress shoes I’ve ever worn, hands down. High-quality true fit. Very comfortable after a couple days of break in, which is to be expected.

Bought these as a Factory 2nd - I'd previously purchased 3 pairs of Factory 2nd's in other models, and never found an issue larger than a slight color variation in an inconspicuous place. While these are visually fine, both shoes squeak incessantly when walking, which seems to be coming from the flex point. I've attempted to break them in as recommended and they show no signs of stopping. Sizing seems a bit larger than other shoes on this last, but nothing worth returning when I initially received them, and the overall material and build quality seems sub-par compared to past purchases.
This seems to be a more and more frequent problem with AE....

Fits Perfectly and Looks Great But Workmanship Lacking

I purchased this custom order with Dainite rubber soles. The shoes fit perfectly and look great. After one wear, however, the heel on one shoe started to become detached and gap was forming between the heel and sole on the other shoe. What a bummer! I have contacted customer support and hopefully they will help me get a new pair made.

shoe is very well made not particularly dressy as the sole is thick and the finish is matt heavy in weight RUNS VERY LARGE at least a half size too long perhaps a full size width seems about right slightly on the wide side
the shoe seems indestructible! if your going to do a lot of walking and need to look pretty good this is the right shoe for you!
